I'm using the XML export feature to get XML files from my surveys.
This works fine but I can't find any way to specify whether a question depends on another one in it.

Is it actually not possible or am I missing anything ?

What LimeSurvey version is used?

When you talk about queXML, you might find this informative.

queXML is an XML description of a questionnaire.

It is not suitable for backing up a LimeSurvey survey as it cannot export conditions, and isn't able to export all question types.

Dominik right now is working a lot on export/import functionalities, to add the theme options + inheritance catch, so he's fixing a lot of stuff there.

Also, the LSS export, which is the main export, is indeed an xml file.
And he just fixed the latest "export conditions" bugs in it.
Si, you should just really update to latest version.
