Hello,

May I ask if it is possible to show the text box one by one for Multiple Short Text question?

i.e. the 2nd text box will only be shown if I input something in the 1st text box. The 3rd text box will only be shown if I input something in both the 1st & 2nd text box. And so on...

Please kindly advise.

Hi,
just set the relevance equation of the 2nd to xth subquestion to
!is_empty(Q1_SQ001)
!is_empty(Q1_SQ002)


So each one is only displayed if the previous is not empty.

I am using LS 2.05, that's why there is no sub-question relevance. Is there any other way to do so? Thanks!

You really should consider an update.

But of course there is a solution for your ancient version,
Use as many questions of type "short text" as you considered subquestions in your "multiple short text question".
Now you can use the question relevance.
