Hello.

I already marked the HIDE TIP button ON, but the tip keeps appearing on the questions.


It is confusing because it says at the same time "check all that apply" and "please select X answer" (screenshot below), so I would really like to get rid of it.

Any thoughts on what might be going wrong here and how to fix it?

What is your LimeSurvey version?

Huuum, maybe silly question, but how do I figure it out? I looked into all my settings and the forum and could not find. I am simply logging in via website.

As far as I know, there was no such bug in that version. Can you please attach an export of a test survey containing only that question?

I cannot reproduce the problem. Please update to the latest stable version and retest with a core template.

So... I couldn't solve the problem by updating the version.

But I figured out I had to set the amount of minimum answers to 0 and not to 1 (with mandatory button ON).

Tips are now gone, but if the respondent chooses less or more options, he/she still gets a message.
