I would like to print out and/or save to a file either an entire survey or some sample questions. The purpose would be to give some committee head unfamiliar with LimeSurvey a sense of what it looks like (so they can approve or dissaprove of our distributing the survey) without them having to take the survey. I do NOT need to make a printable survey for data collection--just for demonstration purposes.

Thanks, I thought of this (i.e., screen prints), but was hoping for a more flexible and less cumbersome way.
Is there no way to, for instance, print out a question group of, say, 10 sequential questions, as they would look to a survey-taker?

(Of course, if I'm really desperate, I can make a visual mock-up in Photoshop...)

but if you don't want to show them a real live survey, you could use some browser add-ons like
pdf mage
pdf creator
webtopdf
or so to save your screens as pdf.

This shouldn't be too much work.

I would dearly love to show them a real live survey, especially since the survey in question is bristling with conditionals, such that a print-out of questions won't be very informative, and probably counter-productive. Unfortunately, I'm dealing with a committee that thinks the answer to everything is a paper handout.

I will probably use one of your suggestions to create a visual sense of what survey-takers see (from a small section of a very complex survey), to accompany a text document listing the content of the questions and describing the (apparent) branching.

Or I'll just print out the Question Organizer page and hand it out, along with a bottle of aspirin!

Inthis situation i copy survey and remove whole condition. Update help text sometimes.

And after print in PDF. BUT : you can not have a live survey in paper …
