Show "no answer" for mandatory questions was created by madscience
Is there a possibility to show the "no answer" button in mandatory questions? I know, in most cases it does not make sense to offer this option in mandatory questions. But right now we are in the situation, where we need to change this.

Is there a workaround or something similar that shows, how to do this?

Why not simply add it as an answer option?

Yes this might be a simple solution, but I cant figure out, how I can add some space between the regular answer options and the "no answer" option.

Meanwhile I figured out, that I can change the following value in config-defaults.php for non mandatory questions.
$config = 2;
// Show 'no answer' for non mandatory questions ( 0 = no , 1 = yes , 2 = survey admin can choose )

This also helped us a bit in finding a solution for our current survey, even though it was not our initial choice.

Thanks for your reply!
I appreciate your help!

Regards, madscience.

This can probably be done with CSS but that depends on the question type and LimeSurvey version.

Yeah, that will change it for all questions.
