I am new to Limesurvey. I am wondering if anyone can give me any insight into whether I will be able to conduct my research on more than one participant at a time? If so, I am wondering if they will then need to be labelled so I know who is who or how I go about this?

Yes, you can conduct the research on multiple participants at a time. There is quite a lot of information about participants in the manual: www.limesurvey.org/manual/Survey_participants
