How can I disable only the email notification that is sent by the platform containing user/password and login details when a new user account is created on limesurvey? I don't want any email notification to be sent once I create a new user. I want to send it manually.

Open a feature request. I'm not aware of any setting which allows to customized that behavior. I don't like the current behavior. I want to be able to create a user without email address at all.

Thank you for your response. I visited the link to create a new feature, logged in but there is no option for new feature request, only to report issue.

There is: in the top right corner you can choose "feature request" in the drop down (if you followed the link from Jelo it should already be marked correctly). Then you can create your request. It is a bug reporting tool, but LS uses it also for feature requests. However, don't get your hopes up too high. New features can take a long time to be implemented (or never will be). Unfortunately there are often not enough resources to cover it all. The more people you get to support your request the higher the chance it will make it into core.

In the meantime, initially create the user with a fake email address and then go back and edit with the correct address (if you want one).

If you don't want to display the password, you can disable the option in config-defaults.php :
$config = false;

This is only a part of the solution.
