Filter statistics with attributes

Hello,
I'm new here. I need to do a survey for each training session we have every year (and there are many many many...).
I did the following : I made one survey and added an attribute to the participants in order to distinguish them.
BUT !
I cannot filter the statitics with this attribute...can I ?

The only issue I see is to duplicate my survey for each training session.... (I tried but answer aren't copied grrr).

As anyone an idea how to get my stats right ? I am not admin of Limesurvey, only user with onwer's rights, I cannot code...

Thanks

What version of LimeSurvey is used?
There is currently no filter for token user attributes.
There are workarounds with hidden questions where you copy the value of the token into the hidden question. Instead of tokens you might be able to use invitations links with variables, which directly get copied into the responses.

Hello,
Version is : Version 2.50+ Build 160614

I'll consider use of hidden questions for next time, for the moment the survey is active so I think I can't use this. I'll have a look a your link thanks !

Well, this is only an issue for the internal reporting, right? Usually you would analyze results in an external application anyway. For this you can export the token attributes and then filter based on that (Excel, SPSS, etc.).

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

Usually the typical LimeSurvey seems to use the internal reporting. Still waiting for a study about LimeSurvey SaaS users ;-)

I know and I don't get it. The "analysis" features in Limesurvey (like in many other survey packages as well) is very basic. It is enough to get a first idea, but people seem to expect it to be a full features analysis package. ;-)
