Can I make a new answer for the users to answer from "other" (text) option?

Didn't understand what do you want.

Perhaps the other field in one question should be used as answer field in another question?
Often asked in connection with array filter.

Answercode other and answer can be access via Questioncode_other.

Don't know if what jelo wrote is what I'm looking for but here is an example:
first user that fills the survey has this question:
Q. in what job do you work?
A. 1) Policeman
2) Lawyer
3) Other/else

The user fills "3)Other=Banker".

A second user that starts to fill the survey will have :
Q. in what job do you work?
A. 1) Policeman
2) Lawyer
3) Banker
4) Other/else

No included solution
- Manually : add manually the answer once by day
- Automatic : create a afterSurveySubmit plugin to the "other answers " to the answer list. Not a big plugin now , because we have attribute of question in plugin. 1 or 2 work day.
