our problem:
we do a login by LDAP. As an user A does his first login the user is created in LS. Then he has minimal rights. e.g. he can create a survey.
Then his colleague B does a login and want to enhance the survey. But as his account is created by 'admin' automatically, user A can not assign any rights to the user B (only possible to users created by hand from user A).
It sounds like the need for a role-model, where all users with role X can access all surveys belonging to group X .
I have not found any role model rights in LS. Did I miss it or is there any other way of realizing the possibility to share surveys between collegues aside from given all users superadmin rights or creating all users by hand
You can go into "Survey permissions" and add groups or users that can work on this survey. It is not 100% what you are looking for, but at list there is a possibility to share surveys between colleagues. However, I was logged in as Superadmin, so this might have an impact. But I think if I remember right, a few years ago we had the case that a colleague had to share a survey with me and this worked.
Help us to help you!
Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
