I am doing a survey, but there is a problem, see the attachment. I carry out a questionnaire. The respondent had to select option1 in S7a or select option1 in S7b.Otherwise, they will be terminated? How to realize this function?
Could you give me a favor?
Thanks again!
Since the quota system in LimeSurvey is very limited you often have to use workarounds.
I would use a simple question which is mandatory and is available in the quota system.
manual.limesurvey.org/Quotas/en#Supported_question_types
This question will only be displayed when S7a and S7b are NOT checked.
That can be done via conditions or via relevance.
Set the quotas on this workaround question for all answers.
Thank you for your reply.Do you mean that create a question named S7c, then the condition is set to ((S7a.NAOK== 1) or (S7b.NAOK== 1) S7c)?? But then how to set the quota? What the question can it be? Did we need to hide S7c(the question we need to add)?
You have to create a simple question, which you can ask.
E.g. We are sorry. The survey is about a certain group of buyers and users.
Let me ask you one last question: Where the questions easy to understand.
Yes/No
On this question you can set quota on both yes and no to 0.
This whole workaround-question is only displayed, if option one "Vitamin...." is not selected in S7a and S7b.
((is_empty(S7a_SQ001.NAOK)) and (is_empty(S7b_SQ001.NAOK)))
If the quota system would recognize the equation question type, we could just use a hidden equation question.
But the quota system is still very basic.
