Update participants data on live survey

Hi,

Is there a way of updating participant data on a live survey via an import? This would be to change existing records rather than add new. Say, I want to update firstname via a .csv import with two fields: email (the key) and firstname.

I suspect it will have to be done in MySQL but it would feel a lot safer within Limesurvey.

Version 2.51.0+160901

New user ... very impressed. :)

Hello there,
we are currently working on an overhaul of the participant panel.
Right now i don't think updating via import is possible, but, it is a good idea.
If you would be so kind and create a feature request?

Are we talking participant database or token table?

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Hi

Thanks for the replies. Sorry, I'm still getting used to the terminology but, yes, it is the token table I'm currently interested in.

I've added a feature request - hopefully, not too early.

Regards
