Can't seem to find where to download those - ?!

(Sorry in advance as this is probably a very obvious one...)

go to "Display responses".
There you can download your files.

These files are saved in the "files" folder of your survey. Unfortunately the filename is a random sequence of characters starting with fu (IMHO "file upload").
If you know the name and type (what you DO NOT in a real case) you can download and open them by just renaming.

Ahhh... thanks Joffm, I get it now: from the response table directly then.
Is there a way to "batch download" all the uploaded files of a survey?

I have over 100 responses with 3-4 files in each... :dry:

At least at Limesurvey v2.06 there is a download icon on the very left of each data set if the survey includes file upload questions.

There should be a similar icon at the top or bottom to download all files of a set of responses as a ZIP file.

I still can't see the Download All responses icon. I can only see the one for each response. v2.51. I'm sure it used to be there in v2.06. If you select multiple responses, all you can do is delete them.

Just open a bug report about it, it will be added again:

We removed all the jQgrids used in 2.06 to replace them by the Yii's CGridView . It's a hard work, but it makes the code much cleaner, easier to read, to modify, to maintain, to design.

Not all the functionalities have been ported immediately. We're doing it little by little. If you miss this functionality, just open a bug report about it, it should be done quiet quickly.
