I have a requirement to store each of the user's assessment scores to the database. I'm on v2.5 - on this version, is it still not saving the assessment data in the database?

I read through the posts on this forum, is Expression Manager the only option available to develop a workaround? Saw the Wiki Example .

As I need to store every question's assessment value, I don't think I can use EM for that. Any suggestions that you can provide will be helpful. Thanks

Hi,
EM is made for that and is not a "workaround" but a powerful set of core functions controlling the majority of LimeSurvey features, including navigation, validation, tailoring and of course assessment. It's really easy to calcul and record complex scores (and/or related interpretation) using "expressions" questions.

I have found a simple solution for this. For my project, I am using LimeSurvey as an assessment tool and just need the values of the questions answered (which is the same range for all the questions). So, I replaced the answer code with the same assessment value (1-5 range) for each of the questions. I checked and this value is being saved to the database for each of the questions which is what I needed (see screenshot).



I have written a custom page to display the assessment results for each user.

Yes, that is by far the easiest solution, providing you don't require the same assesment value for several answer options.
