In Limesurvey, we go to different people to fill out surveys, many times leading to the same person filling up the form.. Is it possible that if the user enters his phone number or email id, his personal details like name etc is auto filled based on his previous submission..

No, that's not possible with LimeSurvey. When taking the survey, there is no access to previous data from the same or other surveys.

@Tony is there a way I can fetch data from a remote database as a auto complete?
