Unfortunately LS is lacking XML export facilities for answers even if this format is intensively used elsewhere (.lss, lsg, .lsq, etc.).
For people using advanced Excel documents (styles, formulas, macros etc.) there is a lot of advantages to import (static/local or dynamic/online) XML files compare to XLS or CSV files... (for example

to manage unwanted columns

)
Loading XML files as data source is available in all Excel versions since 2007.
I'm talking about static local files. Using office 365 (and maybe recent desktop version I don't know) you can load online XML files... so if you can configure your own script to generate this file... you will pretty have nothing else to do further except opening your spreadsheet.
