I have a client using this, and by the way they use it, it would be nice to just have Limesurvey to use numerical answer codes (they work better with SPSS later by detecting automatically the non replied ones and calculating correctly the percent of replies without any pre-process).

So basically... instead of manually having to put 1, 2, 3, 4 .... "answer codes", to have Limesurvey put this answer codes by default as numeric value. instead of alfanumeric value.

Right now, if you create a new question, when you add the options (like in a radio type) ... it defaults to A1 ... A2 ... A3 ...
So I would like to just eliminate the "A" and leave the numbers.

Anyone know how to do this ?

That would require hacking the core code - not recommended.

Maybe make your own export to SPSS plugin ? Replacing all A(number) by (number)
