Type: Numerical input

1、How many employees in your company
Only numbers may be entered in this field.

Hide tip: YES

If we don't want to display "Only numbers may be entered in this field." What should we do?

It was fixed in 2.06+ build 151109 (see this post ).
You'll have to upgrade to a newer 2.06+ version, bearing in mind there have been some changes with div/span html elements so you may have to adapt your template.css to make hide tip work.

Changes around div/span in 2.06? Wasn't that LS 2.5?

That seems to have been done for that special question type, see bottom of bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=10004
Fixed issue 10004: Using hide_tip advanced settings does not hide the tips
Dev: remove the span. and div.
Dev: removed the diplay block to div : it's default

Thanks for the link. Just a small correction in the template.css. No impact on the php code. OK.
