I needed to desactivate a survey to edit a question. This survey already had responses, and some of them are incomplete responses with a login + password for people to modify their response later on (it is a long survey). Before desactivating the survey, I exported the responses in order to reimport them as I activate the survey after editing the question.
It works, but regarding the incomplete surveys, people can no longer modify/complete their response as their password is no longer valid.
Is there a possibility to reimport these incomplete responses with their password so that people can login again and finish filling in the form?
Thanks very much for your help.

I'm unsure ... but maybe
- Deactivate
- Update survey
- Activate
- Reload response from old response table.
You must try before , because not tested : i don't know if we remove saved reponses id when deactivating.

Hi Denis,
Thanks for your advice. I have tried this method already and unfortunately, it doesn't work.
Do you know how the logins & passwords of the survey responses are handled in Limesurvey?
Sarah
Then : need DB access : phpMyAdmin for example. Did you have such access ?

Hi Denis,
Thanks for your message, and sorry for my late reply.
Yes, I can have access to the DB. Is there a way to retrieve this info via the DB?
Thanks again for your help,
Linoa
