I also found your post on this ( bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=9816 ). I am on Version 2.06+ Build 150831 of LS. Has this feature been built in or is it a plugin?

The quota should end at this same point if the number of completes has reached before.

If you click on y example link : you're out at start of survey, just after welcome page ...

For 150831 : i don't remind when this can be used, but think it's OK with 150831. But you can update to last 2.06 release : github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/releases/tag/2.06_plus_160129

Is this feature built into 2.06+ 160129? I just want a confirmation before I contact my IT dept to do the upgrade.. They may give me a hassle about it since I just had them upgrade to 2.06+ 150831 2-3 months ago after using a very very very old ver (1.51 i think).

Actually they should upgrade whenever there is a new version... so much about giving you hassle...

Haha in theory.. they should.. but they don't... We have been using 1.51 for a long long time and almost a year for them to give me a fresh installation of 2.06+ which they gave me 150831 back in November. I needed them to do this upgrade for this same survey since i needed the equation manager

But if the latest version have this feature where they can close out the entire survey once the quota has been reached.. then I can make a good case on doing another upgrade.

I can test the lss file you posted in post#130686.. Do I just import the survey and try the quota?

you can import the survey and try quotas (+ new release) using the demo install

Your LSS worked for me on build 150831. So quick question, how would I set this up in my survey?

Where should I put my QUOTA question in my survey? Should I put it as a hidden question after the adult/child survey groups? Since remember, I want 200 completed survey (so have the subject complete either the adult or the child survey), I need to account for incomplete surveys also (assuming if they stop the survey they won't come back). and then once that quota has been reached, shut new users out of the survey completely (prefer after the consent form).

I tell you what to do, i put an exemple survey : look at it ....
