No not force for everyone. If that is what my initial post said than I am sorry for that, that's not what I wanted to imply.

The problem is that laws aren't the same for every user. So I think there needs to be some way to configure the privacy stuff. Maybe it would even be good if that's done by the admin than it would be the same for every user of a company who creates surveys.

There could be of course different solutions for this. e.g. a template for surveys of the companies, more options to configure privacy message and options when to show and when not to show and so on ...

But first I will have a look at version 3.x and check if there is already a way to do that.

In V 3.x you can have any text of privacy message, two styles (embedded or pop-up), in any type of suvey.
And: the participant is unable to proceed without agreeing to this.

Of course you can do something in V 2.50. Just remove the {PRIVACYMESSAGE} placeholder and enter your own privacy text. And this text can be independent of the status of the survey (anonymous or not).
It's just always there.

I think what halliballi123 actually wants is an option for the superadmin to force a privacy message for every survey done on this installation, to avoid that survey admins forget about putting it there or change the text. And I believe this is not available. The admins need to be responsible themselves. So at the moment I don't see any other way than go with very good internal processes, instructions and revision / approval requirements.

This is good news, thank you! But I can't yet find out how to configure this. Where do I find a template or an editor for the privacy notice (which in our case should be configurable individually for each survey)?

Hi, thank you again. I have finally installed version 3.11.0
I found the fields where I can enter my privacy statement but it is not shown. Is there a way to configure when the privacy statement is shown? I only found several twig files.

Why would you install 3.11.0 if the latest version is 3.14.9??

You configure it just where you put the text.

2 ) there is no option that i can make this default for all surveys? but the survey creator can switch it to no?

I think so, not 100% sure though. But you can easily test it. Create a survey, put the privacy message, check if it is there, switch off the welcome page and see what happens.

No, there is no general option for the super admin to force this on all other admins. So while you have the option of the privacy message, you still don't have your requirement for it to be forced for any survey on your installation. You could make a feature request, but I think there are far more important things to solve in LS than that, so I guess it will be right at the end of a todo list, if it is even considered by the developers.
