I've got a problem with very long "text display" questions.
In the responses view, long answers by users are truncate in order not to screw up the display of responses. My problem is that with "text display" type, it's fully displayed and I got very high rows.
Hi,
I'm also curious to know if there is any good reason to have those boilerplace questions present in the result table.
In my opinion, they should definitively be removed.
Hi,
I think it's not really a bug because it's the standard (and known) behavior since older LS versions. Nevertheless you can report it as a bug or feature request. There is always room for improvements
Oups, I've just made a test with a 1.92 version and the text is effectively truncate (full text appears when mouse is hover)... so it's now clearly a bug.
This said, even truncate, this column is in my opinion unnecesary (at results level)
Oh my bad, I've re-tested this morning and it seems like it's "huge free text" and "long free text" that are not truncate.
Both were truncate in LS 2.0
ok I understand better why you said " long answers by users" in your first message...
BTW and if i'm not wrong, question texts for equation are truncate as well.... Probably there is max characters value affecting all questions types and this seems to be logical.
