Hey you guys,
Is there a function to show a warning message, when there are unanswered non mandatory questions? The warning should show up once and on the second submission, the user can go on with its survey, even though he hasn't answered those questions?
Is there a simpler solution, than checking this manually with a jquery for every page?
No. Non mandatory questions do not have a warning in Limesurvey. So if you want to warn respondents, you will need to create something with Limesurvey for each of the questions.
