often I want to implement a multiple choice question with the possibility to add a comment - exactly like the question-type "list with comment".

I don't want to have text-fields next to each answer option and I don't want to use the free text-field for "other answers".

Is it possible anyhow to transform the "list with comment" question-type to a "multiple-choice with one comment" question?

No, you can't transform the list with comment into another type of question.

What I would do is to add a open ended text question after the multiple choice question and format it via Javascript/CSS so that it fits best to the layout you want.
