Hi there,
I have a survey with 4 question groups and the execution of these question groups is random. But, whenever I export the survey structure and create a new Survey using that structure I find that the randomness has disappeared.
In conclusion, it seems that the randomness disappears when you export the survey structure to .txt file.

I have also tried adding the same value for each question group at the column called "random_group" in the survey structure txt file.

Am I doing anything wrong? How can I do this?

Thanks a lot!

What version of LS are you using? Because for me export to TXT is only for tab separated values, not the survey structure. The survey structure is a .lss file.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

@denis: Thanks, where would I find this TSV export? This is what I get:

OK, now that I read "tab separated values" format, I guess it stands for "TSV". I read "values" as for results. My bad.

What is the difference between the LSS and the TSV structure? When would I use one and when the other?
