im doing a Survey for Participants in China. So i prepared an Excel File for this. Everything under A is the "language" Attribute, B has firstname, C lastname,D email and E has attribute_1 ( for Sir or Ms. ). When in now try to import that File into the Participant Database for the Survey, LS changes all Names that are written in chinese into a Questionmark. Tried to manually add a participant and with this the chinese stays but only when im importing participants via CSV File LS adds ? instead of the chinese first or lastname. So what im doing wrong? How can i import the participants? Thing is, the File has more thann 500 Participants and add them all manually takes tons of time.

Most probably has something to do with the coding of the CSV (e.g. UTF8), but I am no expert on this so not much of a help. But I guess you should research into this direction.

With Libre Office i was able to save the CSV as UTF 8 Unicode. But LS doesnt accept the Data. It Says while import:

548 Datasets in CSV-File
548 Datasets met the requirements
0 Datasets imported

548 Datasets with invalid E-Mail-Adress removed.

And even when i use that Checkbox wich said "Allow invalid Email Adress" LS dont let me import those Participants. I even tried to ignore the Email Adress so what can i do?

Can you upload a partial part of your files : only one line and a false adress (with @example.org for example).

Here is the requested File. Hopefuly you can find that error. Otherwise i have to add all participants manually ( wich are about 500+) . The File was saved in CSV via Libre office. Filteroptions were set to UTF8 Unicode. Also tried simplified chinese but nothing works
