Hello,

I have a trouble with using tokens when I want to disable respondents to open the survey more than just once. I thought that using tokens is the best option besides the cookies option, however when the respondent closes the window without sending the results, then the usage of the token is not taken into account even if he uses it to get access to a survey? When is the usage saved into the tokens table? Is it when I fill in the token to get access to a survey or later when I send the results?
The problem is that I really need to enforce opening the survey just once - the cookie option does not work as it saves the cookie after sending the completed survey.
Is there any solution to this? It would only work if the token usage was saved right after filling to get access, not later when I send the completed survey. If any respondent just closes the window before sending results, then he can use the token as many times as he wishes. But that is not what is needed for my case...

A token is marked as "used" when the survey has been submitted completely. Until then, the token is basically not used completely.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
