I want to have 3 questions - 1st, 2nd & 3rd choice [Single mention - Not multiple mention] where the options chosen in the previous question(s) don't appear as options. For Example :-
What is first choice?
A
B
C
Person chooses A
What is your second choice? [Now only B & C are shown as options.]
B
C
Person chooses B
Third choice question will only show C.

Have used Array Filters in Multi-mention - but the above example is single mention.
How is this done?

Did you try to user the exclusion array filter? It is correct, that is should only work with a multipechoice question as filter, but did you try it anyway?

With 2.06+ you can use subquestion relevance to get the job done. Behind every subquestion you can then enter EM code to filter out the selected item from the previous question.

I think this doesn't work when using "list radio" questions and array filter exclusive options.

You can use multiple choice questions and limit the number of allowed answers to be checked to "1".
Example: ls205.mysurveyhosting.com/index.php/surv...65/newtest/Y/lang/en

That example uses array filter exclusive (q2 filters based on q1 and q3 filters based on q2) and max answers = 1.

In addition to that one could also add the codes of all answer options at the exclusive option for each question (but that only works fine in combination with array filter exclusive when placing the dependent questions on different pages).

Other options: You could use the ranking question type.
Nice drag and drop, but it sometimes don't work in terms of User Experience.
The Rank numbers are missing in front and the placement of items with the mouse sometimes seem to cause trouble with users. Touchscreens are another beast.

Another ranking style question can be done with an array question.
In the advanced options add:
Use dropdown presentation: Yes
Question validation equation: unique(self)
and you can add items and ranks as you like.

I'm newbie here in the forum, i was nearly to ask almost the same question.
But my scenario is slightly different:
First question is single mention.

E
Second question is multiple mention and
B *Selected*
C
D *Selected*
E
Third question is multiple for the remaining
C
E

I can assume that the answer could be pointing in the same direction.
But i'd like to ask Mazi if it's possible to share the .lss file from the example to have a clear reference on how to proceed to do the dropping.
