I wanted to know if it was possible to use global variables in limesurvey.

What I want to do is a registration form for a seminar where people can choose a date. The problem is I want to have a date disappear or blocked when a certain number of people have chosen it.

I don't see how to solve my problem without a global variable.
However, I am open to any other suggestion.
