Adding a survey with QR code was created by Haris.Pap
Hi everyone
While following up the interesting feature(s) request here (complete QR import, survey timings), it seems that adding a survey via QR code does not work - at least using the latest LimeSurvey version. Not sure, if this is related to LimeSurvey or OfflineSurveys, but it has been tested using both latest versions in tablet and mobile devices.
I am hesitant to forward a QR-code and I see no bug report at the moment. Please contact me directly, if you need more details for reproducing the "invalid QR-code" error.
Thank you

Can you outline the work-flow when using the QR code?
Please note that at Limesurvey 5.x there is a different feature to generate the URL to the survey as QR code. That does not include further details for caching the survey with OfflineSurveys. For this the QR code has to be generated within OfflineSurveys.
But we are also planning a Limesurvey plugin which generates the OfflineSurveys QR code within Limesurvey.

Thanks, very helpful. So until the plugin is published, a survey can be succesfully shared by ...
1. Adding the survey once via URL to any device
2. Go to Manage survey -> Share (for generating the QR-code)
The workflow is quite similar to the one described in the link above:
1. Prepare survey
2. Share with interviewers (often using their own devices)
3. Train interviewers how to use the app & edit preferences

Hi Mazi,
I am interested to know - did this plugin get created? Would be very useful for distribution!

The mentioned plugin was developed for the older 3.x version.
Which version do you use?

Currently Version 3.19.3+191023
Planning to move to latest version later in the year - can I ask where I could get access to the v3 plugin?

Please find attached the ZIP holding the code for the OfflineSurveys QR code. You need to download it, extracht the fles and then upload folder "QRGenerator" to /limesurvey/plugins at your Limesurvey file structure.
Afterwards, go to the plugin manager and enable the plugin. At the gobal plugin settings you need to enable the OfflineSurveys QR code and enter details of a Limesurvey admin user with sufficient permissions to access your surveys (see attached screenshot.
At the survey overview you can then see the QR codes being generated, see screenshot.
