I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Like Tpartner, as a paying customer of ComfortUpdate you can contact support. ComfortUpdate is developed purely by the Limesurvey GmbH and we have no insights into what is happening there.
However, as your LS 3.24.1+201014 is already over 2 years old, you could try to upgrade to the latest LS 3 version first and then upgrade to LS 5 from there and see how it goes. This might be an issue in your old version of LS3 and might have been fixed long ago. Just a suggestion.
