i updated my php from 7.1 to 8.0.. then i went to the comfort update in limesurvey Version 3.27.11+210809 to update it and i am getting an error message saying the below, i have the php_curl.dll installed in the folder of php8, but not sure why i still get this error message in limesurvey. .. any help please?
Error!PHP_CURL library not loadedIt seems that your server doesn't support PHP CURL Library. Please install it before proceeding to ComfortUpdate.

If I am not mistaken, LS 3.x is not ready for PHP 8, but I think LS 5 is.

Let's see if someone more knowledgeable can confirm this.

I installed PHP7.3 and got the same error message!

Did you check if you have the PHP_CURL library installed?

the problem is fixed.. all i had to do it copy libcrypto-1_1-x64.dll and libssl-1_1-x64.dll from php8 folder into apache\bin folder , restarted and all works good now.
