Installation on Windows Server/IIS

I am trying to install limesurvey4.2.3+200511 on Windows Server 2016 and facing some issues. I've set the permissions on the /tmp, /upload, and /application/config folders and configured a default site in IIS but still can't get things kickstarted. See attached for error. Any ideas?

Seems there are an issue in url here : i think you can report the issue.

Hey Denis, I'm not sure if I follow what you mean about the URL? Also when I go here I don't see a way to report a bug. I am logged in anonymously.

You need to log in with your credentials here from the forum and you'll see a "report issue" button at the top right. Make sure to choose "bug reports" from the dropdown menue.

Thanks, that's what I figured but unfortunately it won't let me login with the exact same creds as here.

About URL : apache server allow url like /check/test
But IIS only allow ?r=check/test for the same route.
I'm totally unsure it was this issue .


Else : my opinion is :

- Setup a 3.X version and use it for production
- Setup a 4.X version and use it for bug reporting.

Write to the Limesurvey support then, because your forum credentials should work with Mantis. And you are not such a new user that the data hasn't been syncronized between applications. Or did you change your password recently?

Right : i made ann error , Carsten have right .

You must configure IIS for PHP , and it's not a LimeSurvey issue here.

Ask to Microsoft forum … (we are not microsoft support team)
