Are there plans to include the above mentioned feature into the LTS version?
As 3.x is still advertised as the stable version in the Community edition, we are not sure whether to upgrade to LS 5 would be a good idea at present, but we would like to use this feature. Thanks for any infos or advice!

Consequently, I'd like to ask: When will LS 5 be stable? Or, how stable is it at present?

5.2.x is considered stable.
