Completing the survey was created by bryantkrotich
Hello,
I keep getting php code after completing the survey.
It's a data dump for the response created by the participant.
Am using version 3.27.0
Kindly see the attachment below.

Looks strange. Does this happen with all surveys or just with a specific one?

First of all I would update to the latest version and see if the issue persists.

Your intallation LimeSurvey 3.27.0 build 210525 is from mid 2021. And in May it will be 2 years without update, bug fix and security patches.

If this is a Limesurvey issue, it might have been fixed a long time ago. So I suggest you update to the latest version before we start to search for a solution for this issue. It might already have been fixed.

I tried to update it to version 4.0.0 but there is an error with the api remote control plugin.

This api error shows an issue with 'language' column in the 'lime_questions' database. I think since the templates were created in version 3.27.0, it has some details which are conflicting with the table in the database.

Do NOT update to version 4.0.0. First of all LS 4.0.0 was released on 16/01/2020, so it is actually older than your version of LS3. Second, LS4 is not supported anymore and third, LS4 was probably one of the worst LS releases ever and in my opinion was never ready for "production use" in any of its versions.

If you update, either update to the latest LS3, or update to LS5.

Noted.
But does LS5 support api ?
I had also tried to create surveys using the api and it did not work.

But does LS5 support api ?

Yes, LS5 also offers the API.

But why don't you focus on updating to the latest version of LS3 first? As it is the same general version, you won't have any issues with themes, workarounds, etc.

Then later, when you have enough time to test LS5, move to LS5. LS3 probably won't be here for much longer. My guess is (I have no special insights into this!) that end of 2023 or latest 2024 LS3 will be EOL.

But focus on your issue here first. Try to update to the latest release of LS3. There won't be a major "break" in version and the update should run smooth.

The API is supported in 5.x, I use it all the time.

Your screenshot looks like an object dump in a theme TWIG file. Have you tested with a core theme?
