Partially randomized ranking question was created by Gustavo_Kremer
Hi! I'm trying to randomize the option list of a Ranking question, leaving the last two options at the bottom of the list. Searching the forum, I found this solution:
forums.limesurvey.org/forum/design-issue...or-ranking-questions
I tried to use this script changing the answers codes to suit my needs, but it doesn't work as expected (all options are randomized, including those that should be fix at the bottom). I don't know if this solution still works in the version of LS i'm using (3.25.17) or if there is something else I'm missing. I'm attaching a lss with the question (fixed codes are '11' and '12'). Any help would be much appreciated!

Volunteers are not paid.
Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless

Hi, Gustavo
I really dislike this misuse of a ranking question (other to be ranked, and even worse a ranking of "no answer")
You want to have ranked only up to five items
So I recommend to split the question
1st: a multiple question with "other" option (max. 5 answers allowed)
2nd a ranking of the selected items
This is much easier and more intuitive for the participant.
