New survey round, different tracks was created by polbarbe95
Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: 3.27.26
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: Own server
Survey theme/template:
==================
To whom it may concern,
We launched a survey a few months ago and now we are planning on following up with a new survey to our respondents. However, we would like to send different tracks of a survey depending on the profile of our respondents. For example, if a respondent is male then he would automatically be directed to a different track. Is there any way we can program that? Or shall we simply create different surveys? Ideally we would like to use only one survey hence que question.
Have a nice day!

This can be easily done with token based (closed) surveys.
You can add custom attributes to the token table (e.g. gender, etc) and then create relevance equations / conditions to show/hide certain questions, question groups or subquestions based on the custom attribute saved in the token table, at least as long as the survey isn't set to anonymous.

Many thanks holch,
I did not know you could add conditions based on an input you created in a participants table. I will try that!!

I am encountering some issues while adding conditions based on the new attributes I imported from the participants table.
Although I created the new attributes and the labels appear once I upload the participants table, the new fields appear empty, no values are imported. Thus, I cannot add any condition based on this table. Might it be a problem related to the CPDB?

CPDB is different to the participant table.
Create a participant table with the attributes and test this, without involvement of the CPDB.
Not sure what you mean by that. You don't "import" attributes from the participant table. The attributes are stored in the participant table and you access these attributes from the participant table in the survey.
Or do you mean that you import the attributes from the CPDB into the participant table of the survey? Of course, if the attributes are empty, you can't use conditions based on them.

In the csv-file they have to be "attribute_1", "attribute_2",... no matter whoch aliases you use int the participants table.

Did you use the correct fieldnames of the attributes?Although I created the new attributes and the labels appear once I upload the participants table, the new fields appear empty, no values are imported.

Many thanks for your answers, Joffm and Holch.
It was indeed the name of the attributes, we tailored the name of the new attributes instead of leaving the default names "attribute_1".
