Your LimeSurvey version: Versión 2.72.5+171121
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: Own server
Survey theme/template: Flat and modern

==================
Hello.
Sorry for the question but I am very new with LimeSurvey.
I have a survey where I have created some users, so there is a participants table. In that participants table I have created some attributes (attribute_1, attribute_2 and attribute_3).
In my survey I have created some questions. One of those questions is of type List (Dropdown) and what I want now is to pipe the data that is selected in the list question option to for example, attribute_3 of the participants table. How can I do that?
I want that when user finish the survey the option that was selected in the question of type list (dropdown) is stored in attribute_3.

Versión 2.72.5+171121

First of all, you shouldn't run a version of Limesurvey that is from 21/11/2017. This installation hasn't received any updates, bug fixes and secuirty fixes for over 5 years. You should seriously consider to update to LS5.

To your question: There is a plugin provided by the forum user Denis that allows you to update an attribute in the token table by a response:

gitlab.com/SondagesPro/TokenManagement/updateTokenByResponse

Not sure if it works with your ancient version of Limesurvey.

Ok, so if an option selected from a question of type dropdown list can´t be stored in the participants table without the use of a plugin. Can you tell me which LimeSurvey questions types allow to store the data that is introduced in the question of the survey to the participants table?

None without using a plugin or an AJAX call to a remote file that uses the API.

Like says Tpartner: This has nothing to do with the question type. The issue is the same for all question types. There is no built in way in Limesurvey to transfer a response to the token table.
If you want the token table to be updated with the data of a question, you need to install the plugin or an Ajax call.
