Haha, yes yes, you are right. I should have clarified that I'd like it in a printer friendly format. If there are 25 questions, an excel spreadsheet becomes very very wide, so I'm looking for something more like the PDF export, but just organized by question instead of by respondent.

That's up to you.
If you have some knowledge in php (or other) you may write a small script to query the database directly or by the API and create a good looking pdf report (or whatever).

api.limesurvey.org/classes/remotecontrol_handle.html
And an EXCEL spreadsheet doesn't become wide, if you insert vertical pagebreaks. It becomes long.
Or you create a small macro.
Here you are free to design the layout of your report.
Anyway:
Why don't you like the built-in pdf-report in "Statistics"?

Hey that's pretty good. That statistics PDF report might work well enough. Thank you for pointing me to that, and for the other suggestions. I suppose there isn't an easy way that I'm overlooking to not have it page break for every question? If there are only a few responses, there is a lot of blank space on every page. Thank you again for your help!
