I was wondering if it's possible to transfer survey built in limesurvey v 3.25 to version v 4.3x. I know that I should export .lss and import it in the newer version, just interested what kind of problems I might be expecting.

The problem here shouldn't be the import, but rather the bugs that are still present in LS 4.x.

I wouldn't recommend to move to LS 4.x for production just yet. If it is for testing then go for it.

But remember, if you make changes to the survey and then want it back in LS 3.x this won't work. There have been major changes to the database and thus the LSS format. As Joffm said, you can import LSS exported from LS3 to LS4, but you can't import LSS files exported from LS4 to LS3. Once you moved your survey to LS4 you can't go back.
