I'd like to know if I can give permissions to groups of users.
For example, I have group A, B and C.
I want to give the permission to create surveys to users belonging in groups A and B but not in users from group C. Users in group C will only be able to see survey, not create them.
If its not possible, are there any plugins for it?
Also, I've installed LDAP and CAS plugins.
I've set it so that when a new user first connect to Limesurvey using LDAP and CAS, it create his account.
What I'd also like to do is to assign that new user in a group depending on the user's status in my LDAP.
For example, I have users 1, 2 and 3.
Users 1 and 2 have a "Red" status and student 3 has a "Blue" status.
When Users 1 and 2 first connect to Limesurvey, it creates his account and assign him into group "Red".
Same for User 3 with group "Blue".
If with "survey group" mean the groups you can assign to each survey to sort them better in the list: Not possible, afaik, these survey groups are rather a "tag" than anything else. I don't think this is included into the rights management.
Help us to help you!
Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
