I have an external host application where users log in using LDAP credentials.
Once users logs in the UI presented to them contains icons/links to external applications which are hosted in the parent app.

I have a Lime survey application setup separately, I want to provide a new icon for Lime survey, so that when a user clicks on it, he will directly be authenticated with the existing LDAP credentials and on success he will be taken to Lime survey homepage not the login page again where in he is validated again.

is it possible ?

When you say login to LimeSurvey, do you mean login in survey administration or login to a restricted access survey?

Thanks for your reply, by login i meant login to the Survey administration only. Providing token based access to the survey is working fine.

Thanks for your suggestions, I think Authentication Plugins might help me in this. I am taking a look at the same.
