script or plugin available that I can use to
automate the import of participants from a CSV file on a regular basis into LimeSurvey?
- If yes: which plugin/script do you recommend, and what version of LimeSurvey does it support?
- What are the typical pitfalls you’ve encountered when automating participant import (CSV format issues, custom attributes, token generation vs manual, duplicates, performance with large volumes)?
- If not: what approach have you implemented yourselves? For example: cron job + PHP/Python script + RemoteControl2 API, CSV import + manual, plugin development, ...
For context: I need to regularly import a few thousand participants (with custom attributes) into the survey participants table in LimeSurvey, and ideally I’d like the process to be automated with minimal manual intervention.Thank you in advance for any advice or shared experiences!
