Hello Everybody,
I am having a problem with the development of a specific question. Hopping that one of you can help me with. I am creating a survey in which I include a dropdown list type question to ask Country of Origin. The Survey is available is two languages: German (based language) and English . To add the list of countries in the Edit answers, I use the tool quick add and the full list is added without any problem in the German section. Then, in the section of English (Using the same country list) the list is incomplete. I tried to fill up wit the quick add tool manually but then when I try to save it I get an ERROR message:
500 - Interner Serverfehler.

I attach some pictures to be more specific.

Have any of you created the question country of origin with a dropdown list simply with what the software offers? Can any of you help to solve this problem?

Thank you in advance
I would appreciate

Hi,
did you check the value of "max_input_vars" in "php.ini"?
This seems to be too low.

Just to add:
With a value of max_input_vars of 5000 and adding both lists at the same time

there is no problem here.

By the way: I used version 3.22.28
Which version do you use?

Hi Joffm,

Thanks for you reply. I am using Version 2.67.3+170728. To check the value of "max_input_vars" in "php.ini", Do I need to be the main admin? I am not the main admin, my school owns the license and the admin (person in charge) gives me the access and permission to the software.

If I can do that on my own, I would like to know how change the max_input_vars in php.ini .

Thank you in advance
Regards,

Oh,
why does nobody mention the real important things?
And: Where is LimeSurvey hosted?
Either as SaaS on a server of LimeSurvey GmbH. But then you have an actual version. Not this old (more than three years) one.
Or your school uses the Community Edition, which is free (no license).
In this case go to the person in charge of the web hosting and ask about php.ini and tell him to consider an update

Best regards
