The link generated by limesurvey with the survey alias doesn`t work. I have the same problem with the QR code.
This text pops-ups when clicking on the link: The requested URL was not found on this server.

Does anyone have any idea why?

I can only share the survey with other people if I copy the link that is generated when you click on 'start survey' in the editorial view. But thst link at least seem to work for others too without log in.

Did you activate the survey?

Yes it is activated and with the other link works (that looks awful and automatically generated in the editing panel).

The nicer link with the survey alies, however, doesn't work.
Eg. www.b-tu.de/umfragen//apple

This link has two slashes (//), which is not OK. But with one slash it also does not work.

Strange. Can you make a screenshot of the screen where you define the alias?

It seems like you have defined the alias xyz. So then the url would be:
www.b-tu.de/umfragen/xyz

But that one also does not work.

I cannot see what goes wrong.

Maybe if you post a full screenshot of the actual screen (with URL) where you define the alias.

I don't think it makes sense to send the URL for the editing page, because for that you would need to log in with a university account to access it.

On this screen print I see that your survey is called xyz and that the alias is xyz. Is that correct?

If not: please send a screenprint of the settings page of the survey that you are talking about.

Which settings page do you exactly mean? I sent you the screenshot of the page where you can set up the alias and title of the survey.

I wanted to see what you filled in at survey alias for your specific survey. That is why I asked for a screen shot.
