I have a problem with the asterisk symbol in the custom template I created. They don't show up and in their place is printed the ''f069' which obviously is the code of the asterisk symbol. Any ideas on how to fix this? In all the default templates it is presented correctly so it is weird that it does not work in the custom (since it actually is a copy of the default in the beginning).
Hmm, i created a new template and it works so it has to do with my css customizations after all. Although I remember seeing this problem from the beginning that I created it. Anyway, I''l just customize the new one that is working.
It seems that with even the slightest change in css of the template the asterisk disappear and only its code is showing (even if you change something that has nothing to do with it). And even if you revert the change and save again it doesn't come back. I can't understand why this happens.
Maybe it's better if we can have a look at your updated template with a single question.

So I just created a brand new template and a new survey. Initially the asterisk is displayed.
Then changed file css/template.css line 4 randomly from padding-bottom: 10px; to padding-bottom: 9px; just for the sake of the experiment. And the asterisk is gone with this small change. Please see the link below.
No I didn't remove the \ . The weird thing is that it is indeed missing and also when I tried to add it now in front of f069 as it should be, as you indicated it is not saved.
