We have just released the new version of our TFR Responsive Bootstrap based LimeSurvey template. We are now at version 1.6.
Most changes are the result of user feedback, so please, if anything is unclear or just wrong, just mail us, so we can see what we can do!
Some changes:
You can download the newest release from our template page at:
www.toolsforresearch.com/limesurvey-responsive-template
When you have tried our template and really like to use it, please consider buying a Premium version at:

All sold templates keep us going. We have spent already more than 300 hours developing this template!
Greetings from the Netherlands!
Most changes are the result of user feedback, so please, if anything is unclear or just wrong, just mail us, so we can see what we can do!
Some changes:
- better styling of file upload dialog and time picker(jQuery)
- group description now also shows when only group description (and not group title) should show up
- HTML in subquestions and headings of array questions now works
- boilerplate question (text display) now only shows heading when help text is not available
- unnecessary CSS removed, so resulting CSS is lighter (but still ....)
- 5 point array with stars now also styled (we had never seen this one before...)
- several smaller issues with margins and paddings...

The meaning of the word "stable" for users

Have you yet decided if TFR will be updated to LS2.5? Or do you wait for LS 3.0. There is seems to be no 100% compatibility to LS2.5.
What is meant with the line "Will need some styling adjustment." in the Demo?
The user/buyer of the template needs to finetune something. Or is that a sign for work in progress by "Tools for Research"?
E.g. the selector in the question "Do you know at what date & time you were born?" is shown out of sight, so that you'll have to scroll back to see the answer options. Since the elements are bigger than normal to suit touchscreens this scrolling back looks like behavior to avoid.
I hope the LS 2.5 bootstrap template won't hurt your sales. I will try to evaluate your template again soon. The big sliders are still hurting my eyes

Hi Jelo,
I just tested the template with a local version of LS 2.5 and besides some odd margins/paddings everything seems to work.
"Will need some styling adjustments" is a leftover from the time when the display of jQuery elements looked really ugly. We have improved since then, so this remark can be taken way...
You are right that the answer options panel for the question: "Do you know at what date and time you were born" is too big. We already disadvised it for smaller displays, but now it also seems to be too big for larger displays too. We will look at it, but it is not high on our priority list, since this question seems to be hardly used and there is a good workaround: just break down the question in two questions, one for the date and one for the time, which is advisable for when working with smaller displays (and that is where this template is designed for primarily).
Big sliders are 100% sliders, we thought about making them smaller on large screens, but any restriction would be arbitrary. People might feel too restricted, especially when wanting to use fine grained sliders. Currently there is no setting to influence the size of the slider, therefore we choose 100%. This is good on small screens and too wide (for you, but maybe also for others...) on large screens.
Design is looking for balances and that is what we try to do...
Anyway, thanks for your feedback, this keeps us moving!

Just tested your template with the current LS 2.5 RC and it seems actually broken. You cannot answer (select) anything. Maybe a problem with Bootstrap?

Thanks! I really like your theme and it would be great to be able to keep using it with the new LimeSurvey in the future.

Just for the record for people reading this: the theme in version 1.6 is currently broken in version 2.5 RC of LimeSurvey.
It works normally in the currently stable versions 2.05/2.06 !

Do you have any update for the theme to work with 2.5?

Hi, we do not have this working on 2.5 yet, but we are working on it. The structure in 2.5 is slightly different, we are investigating if we need a completely new template (which will not work in previous versions) or if we can adapt the current template to work with 2.5
We will get back here when the template is ready for testing or for production.

If they have an update, they will tell you.
So far Tammo always published when there is a new version. There is no need to ask, this will not speed up the development process.
