I have a Long free text question and I want to have the text input box shorter than it has been showed.
But it is not been possible.
This what´ve done:
number of characters = 300
number of rows = 5
text_input_width = 50
My LS is Versão 2.06+ Build 151018

That should work, perhaps your template is overriding the textarea attributes. Can you activate a test survey and give us a link?

Hi,

I am new to the league. I have been assigned Lime survey quite recently and I have hit a snag while validating text questions.
I want my text questions to accept ONLY textual response . Right now if I enter 123 in "Name of respondent" field it gets accepted. I want it to take text only.
Please help me on this. I'm afraid if the question sounds childish.
I have done my desk research already.
This is my first ever post to any forum, please help.

OK! I have found the solution already.

OK! Now I ve hit another snag. I an using ([A-Z]{1}[a-z]*) to validate my text fields. Respondents can now escape validation by entering A12345. Ideally validation should not allow numerical input AT ALL.

Please help!

This is something I also want to change and I don´t know how.
I saw in templates that there are 5 possible sizes: Mobile, 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 and Complete.
But how I change this?

2) I saw in templates that there are 5 possible sizes: Mobile, 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 and Complete.
But how I change this?
3) and if you could help me in one more thing: in the multiple choice question I have an "other option". In this I can not put the "tick" sinal in the check box.
