I have a survey where respondents upload a file. Is there a way to attach that uploaded file in the detailed results that is emailed to the admin upon survey completion?

I did not see a way to do that in the email templates or the documentation.

Did you try using {INSERTANS:survey_idXgroup_idXquestion_id} in your template?

There are no core LimeSurvey system to do this.

I don't think this feature was added.

I don't think that this feature will make it into LS anytime soon if not sponsored by someone. If you both need it, maybe you can get in touch with Denis and check if this can be done with a plugin and see if you can sponsor this both together? I have no idea what it would cost to develop something like this.

Hi all,

I was wondering if this feature has been included in the newest versions of Limesurvey.
I need users to upload an excel file in a file upload question and it would be great if this file could be attached to a notification email, which needs to be sent to someone without admin rights. As far as I could see the only way to retrieve uploaded files is to search the response and download the file manually.

(I tried to check if there was a feature request in the bugtracker but I am not familiar with the development part of Limesurvey and could not find anything).

If this is not an available feature but there are commercial plugins to solve this issue, I would be very grateful for any hint.

If someone add this feature in a pull request in core : i vote against it.
