Using audio files on survey

Hello everyone!
I have a little problem: I'm creating a survey where the subject will listen to a very short audio file and then answer a question about it. It should be around 40+ files and I would like to include one file on each question without using an outside page (such as soundcloud or grooveshark)to play the file.
I can't seem to find how to do this so could anyone help me out??
Thank you in advance!!

I still have some problems: I put this
<embed height="20" width="128" autostart="false" controls="console"
loop="true" volume="50" src=" barbosa03.limequery.com/admin/scripts/kcfinder/FILE NAME.wav">

on the source code and nothing seems to happen. I think I haven't identified the audio file right but I don't know how else to identify it. I uploaded to LS earlier.
Thanks for your help!!

Hello. I have a two questions.

1: can you copy your .wav link into your browser URL and play it? When I copied your link, barbosa03.limequery.com/admin/scripts/kcfinder/FILE%20NAME.wav to my URL it doesn't play.

2: is the name of your file FILE NAME.wav ? (just checking)

The embed tag didn't work for me anymore either (I'm using google chrome and limesurvey 1.92+ build 120623) but this html code did:

<audio controls="controls"> <source src=" www.acsu.buffalo.edu/~c5a/OLD/bubbles_2.wav " type="audio/wav"> Your browser does not support this audio

and this is how it looks when the question runs:

These links helped me:
www.w3schools.com/html/html_sounds.asp
stackoverflow.com/questions/1700300/embe...browsers-no-controls

Maybe you will also find them helpful.

HI!!
I used your code and a black bar appears where the play bar should be. I used this code:

<audio controls="controls"> <source src=" barbosa03.limequery.com/admin/scripts/kc...rowse/AM_Anger.1.wav " type="audio/wav">

My file name is AM_Anger.1.wav, I actually have a lot of files to play so that is just the first one. Am I missing something? I don't know if identified the file right so maybe that's the problem.
Thanks for your help!!

hm. could be a file pathname problem.

When I cut/paste my file location
www.acsu.buffalo.edu/~c5a/OLD/bubbles_2.wav
into a browser URL it plays but when I cut/paste your file location
barbosa03.limequery.com/admin/scripts/kc...AM_Anger.1.wav
into a browser URL it does not.

What goes where ... is? (in kc...AM). It looks like there is more there hidden because it was long but you copied that. maybe. I'd also rename my file to AM_Anger1.wav but perhaps that first period doesn't matter either way.

Perhaps someone else will know soon. good luck.
